NEW memorial day weekend plans

Since we're having bad weather for the THIRD Memorial Day weekend in a row (thanks Utah), I've had to change my plans. Cowabunga Bay and Splash Summit are confirmed CLOSED, and Lindon Aquatics is confirmed OPEN but you never know when it's 50s-60s and raining. For a place that's supposed to be a high desert, it sure does seem to rain every 20 seconds.

Thesis defense is passed, so I'll be unwinding this weekend. This is how summer will officially start:

Today

3:45 pm leave work for Provo Rec

4:15 walk at provo rec

4:45 slides, order Cupbop

5:45 drive home, potentially use pool or spa

6:15 shower, art, writing, code, engineering, and music. Read on hammock. Prep gym stuff. Prep Lagoon stuff. Now that my defense is passed, I don't have any formal education on the near horizon. So, I finally can focus on self-study, personal projects, AND most importantly novel publication.

7:30 writing group AND/OR games, internet, shows

8:15 get ready for bed

9:00 bed

Saturday

4:30 wake up

5 lift

5:45 drive to Riverwoods

6 Run (16 miles)

8:50 Roxberry, maybe pool or spa

9:45 drive to Farmington

10 Lagoon

12 LAB (if it opens) and lunch

1:30 Cherry Hill (if it opens) I am gonna have to drive around a lot and see.

3 walk on Lagoon Trail (if it's not raining)

4 Lindon Aquatics and possibly SCERA if it opens. Backup: AF pool because they explicitly confirmed last year to only close for lightning :) and possibly PG

6 shower

6:30 get dinner, houston TX hot chicken maybe

7:30 writing group possibly, productivity block, online recreation block

Sunday

Riverwoods long walk

Monday

Lift, run 8

If they weren't open on Sat, Cherry Hill and LAB

Walk (?)

Splash Summit

Smaller pools I missed on Sat

Productivity block and bed.
