long-term
667th post, sad day. 666 should reign supreme.
My end goals for competency are as follows:
- LIFTING: 8% body fat at 160 lbs.
- This should not be too much, so it won't mess with Boston, which brings me to...
- RUNNING: BQ consistently
- Ideally, 2:45 marathon and all the other times that match that
- MUSIC: Play clarinet in a reputable symphonic band or orchestra, play piano at the level where I can accompany choir and sing at the same time myself, and learn organ so I can get a few gigs doing that.
- ART: Do commissions (2D and 3D), make comics, make games and VNs. Have an impressive portfolio and reel. Do FX and rigging. Have models and textures available on sites like TurboSquid
- Also be sure to watch shows and play games to stay immersed
- WRITING: Publication, read a ton, fanfic submissions
- CODING/IT: Top at Leetcode/Neetcode, Kaggle/Advent of Code/CTFs, impressive portfolio of completed programs/apps and games, IT/security certs, freelancing and releasing my own products
- ENGINEERING: Fully prepped to redo school without it killing me, all topics I want to study already pre-studied in EE/ME, full theme park resort planned out and modeled in Unreal or Unity, theme park blogging
- VISUALIZATION: be able to impose (prophantasia) and intensively visualize, especially humans, which will help me with my character design aspirations
- COMMUNICATION: I want to reply on TIME to messages and be active in engaging with others. This will help me build up a community
- GAMING and GAME DEV: Play lots of games, code lots of games, blog about games.
My timeline:

- 1-2 weeks maintenance, followed by lean bulk through April, then a mini cut into May

By 2026, I should get a few more security certs, do a rigging reel, and finish all of the PLC Dojo.
By 2027, I'll be able to map out when to do engineering, and when to do a CS PhD.
How will this happen? Atomic habits, 2-minute rule, treating it all like workouts. Sundays are sometimes crap, I had to revert to my 2-min strategy for coding and eng when I wanted to do 5 mins at least.
