new weekday schedule: analysis and pain points
5 AM get up: used to this now.
5:30 AM work out: it usually takes me 35 minutes to get ready, but with practice I can speed this up. I need to get up, make my bed, use the restroom, take my meds, eat a bar, brush my teeth, weigh myself, do some quick yoga stretches and rollouts, then drive to the gym.
6:50 AM head home: no issues
7 AM get ready for the day and do technical studies: getting ready for the day always takes more than an hour for some reason, even if I don't multitask with technical studies. I think the pain point is stretching for too long, and mixing my protein shake takes forever. If I watch 1 video during breakfast and somehow get ready by 7:45 that would be ideal...
8 AM technical studies: I always start this late and it bleeds into work, pushing my times later, need to fix the above point
9 AM work, don't forget to clock hours: yay -- need to improve punctuality tho
Sometime in the morning dream journal: better to do this in the morning, closer to dreams, good for the end of a Pomodoro block.
12 PM lunch + music + walk: doable.
Sometime in the afternoon music: haven't tried it yet here we go.
Before clocking out sort trello boards, determine tomorrow’s goals, and log workout – during documentation block: moving this from 8 - 8:15, should be interesting
6 PM dinner + cleaning + gaming + tv + reading + internet + prep gym bag: never enough time, but it's gonna have to be enough -- I can eat while watching shows which helps.
cleaning can be divided up into: bathroom, bathtub, kitchen and living room, laundry room, bedroom, vacuuming. if we clean the bedroom every morning for like 5 minutes, it stays clean (enough). just a quick dusting and picking up of trash. so, basically: kitchen and living and bathroom on Tuesdays, vacuuming on Fridays, bathtub AND FRIDGE on Saturdays, laundry room plus actual laundry on Sundays. This gives us Wednesdays off for writing group and Thursdays off for shopping.
Mondays we have class and get off work late, and have to launch directly into art after work.
6:45 PM writing: I have so much fun with this that I often go over my time, got to be careful lol
7:15 PM art: no issues, this is when I do iRestore and take meds as well
8:15 PM get ready for bed: cannot get distracted but I have 30 minutes ffs it should be enough. also a nice time to read a bit ig.
8:45 PM meditation: this always starts at 9 and I rush it, will improve.
weekends will need to build a modified version of this schedule, tbd.
when I have writing group, I do art during the meeting and push writing to afterword
once I start commuting that's going to suck, but that'll be a year at least
once I start doing summer swimming....ooh boy, probably gonna just chuck up a 2-hour dinner block, shorten lunch, and shorten technical studies
I also get extra art time at work because I draw while things are rendering and during meetings. plus I go to figure drawing every Tuesday!
idk when to cook, probably on Mon/Tues though, I emphasize quick things
shopping usually happens on Thursdays with dinner and then I just have to cut something else short, sucks to suck
also
weekly assignments every Sunday
daily goal-setting before leaving work
need a version to do when I have evening commitments
