the liminality of an indoor water park at night

I've got to do this more. It's hard getting yourself pumped for a water park when it's cold out, though.

But like...just the austerity of the walls contrasted with the color of the slide, the oppressive feeling of being trapped...and yet at the same time you look out at the beautiful city lights and feel so safe. This video in general was hypnotic to watch. The blurry lights amidst the darkness outside. The way the top of that spiral slide is shrouded in darkness. It makes you feel tired, like you need to rest and sleep for the night. And yet, there's just this sense of mystery. What happens if I go down it? What if I come out the other side and I'm not here anymore?
