Ravings of an Undead Cheese Minion

I am not interested in devoting my heart and soul to a company. I have been burned too many times. I will not ever work crazy hours. However, I am  interested in dedicating myself to programming and computer science , and performing to a high standard of excellence in that regard. I love coding so of course I want to do well, just without being too emotionally invested. Plus, I like raking in cash.  I can't find the reddit quote right now, but basically, the company's project isn't your baby. You're just the nurse.  I study a lot outside of work. But it's not enough. You can excel at your own  coding projects and learning academic topics too. But that may not translate to your actual job. I'm super motivated when working on my own stuff, or when working on academic projects. I have a harder time when at a company.  When you look up questions like this, the answers are always super vague. "Ask lots of questions!" Or, the worst one: "Learn the codeb...

...doesn't mean that I'm going to forgive Randy Lake for outsourcing a ton of DreamWorks films to Sony in Canada and causing a ton of positions to be cut. Because of him, I'll never get to work on Bad Guys 2 or Wild Robot. He took my dream job away.  There is no forgiveness, and yes I'm still mad. I'm not over it, and I never will be. I have many choice words I could say, but I will not say them in public.   At least making him into a villain in my next novel will feel nice. He will die a brutal death (spoiler).

And it's 48 degrees out. It was in the 50s earlier.  We've almost made it out of the dark. Soon, the sun will be going down at 8:30, the weather will be warm, and I'll be driving to the park after dinner for a nice walk. 

Me: I'm just doing a 500-cal vanity deficit for the summer 6-pack shred. Should be pretty easy if I hit my protein goals. TL;DR it was amazing and perfect  and we are going to make this an annual tradition. I may edit this with photos later, but I'm probably going to forget.  Recently, I spent 5 wonderful days donating my dollarbucks and soul to the evil mouse in Orlando. I did it for the Disney Princess Half Marathon.  Just look at that happy little alligator musician. He's so CHONKY. It's adorable. I love him. How could you NOT run a half marathon for him when he's cheering you on?  (My dad says it's weird to say the word "adorable" as a man, which makes zero logical sense and obviously means I need to use that word as often as possible. I will also continue to wear my rings and maybe I'll start flashing my pink protein shaker. Just to cause a little discomfort, because it's funny.)  I haven't seen the movie yet actually so idk if the gator is a major character or not. But JUST LOOK AT HIM.  My cousin and I had been planning a Disney trip, specifically centered...

I should update A&A with this too... They had hinted at it before but I wasn't sure. Even though they've done some annoying stuff -- like close 1-2 hours early after I drove all the way down there because no one was there -- I still really love this farm. So, I'll probably get a pass. I'm excited! Though this farm made fall much more enjoyable to me, so if it's available in the summer too, who knows if it will have the same effect on the fall for me.  Hopefully they are doing OK business-wise, and this isn't some sort of crazy gamble. It can be hard to tell.  Regardless, summer 2024 should be a really good one.  Update: I guess they have to close at dusk due to city restrictions? That really sucks. I love seeing the fair at night.
