How to animate a box in a straight line in Houdini (super simple)
You essentially use Houdini scripting to animate what the Z-value of the cube is based on the current frame. This is the formula I used -- it's not super mathematical; it's just trial and error:
I calculated 1.5 to be the value after frame 30 approximately, so I just keep it there indefinitely.
