Twitter is getting irritating

The “share screenshot instead” prompt that keeps showing up on Twitter now is beyond annoying. I screenshot everything. I save everything I find interesting by screenshooting. I have over 125K pictures saved to my phone and I’d say over half of them are screenshots.

If this keeps happening it’s going to make using this app extremely inconvenient and I’m going to end up on just Reddit and FB again.

I don’t usually screenshot tweets to share them elsewhere. I screenshot them for myself. So this decision is idiotic and makes innocent scrolling 20x more irritating. What I do on MY phone with MY apps is my own business, and apps shouldn’t try to hijack that.

It's the 4th of July...

...and I'm inside, sick, instead of being outside and watching fireworks. Well, I might wander outside in a little bit, but I'm not with friends.  I wasn't feeling that bad in the morning. In fact I made it through 100 minutes of lifting (longer workout which I had planned in advance) and an 8-mile run, and I felt fine and only coughed twice. So I thought I was basically over it. I was wrong. I started feeling horrible at Lagoon. Sat down in the queue for the Wild Kingdom Express and actually thought I was going to pass out. Drove by all the cool animals and just wanted the ride to be over. The kangaroos were super active and it took me quite a few seconds to process it and I didn't take a pic. Likely hyponatremia (yet again) and some form of heatstroke, which I usually don't get especially in the 80s but I guess when you're already sick... Why on earth did Blogger remove the links to interests/shows/etc. on my profile page? This is lame. I liked clicking on them to find other blogs that discussed topics relating to said interests.  Anyway.  I started off this blog talking about music, and now I finally feel like talking about it again. :P  This song has been on my mind a lot lately, because rainy season is almost upon us. While early- and mid-spring days filled with rain and clouds can be depressing at times, ultimately they are a beautiful thing. They are a sign that late spring and early summer will be filled with color, life, and light. We can't have the lovely green foliage of summer without some good rain, and I say this as someone who strongly prefers sunshine and warmth.
