The "am I going to swim at my apartment's pool or not?" thought process

1. Is it later than 10:30 AM? If so, it will be filled with children and their parents. So, nope.

2. Is it earlier than 9 AM? It doesn't open until 9 AM despite the fact that there is no lifeguard on duty, and most people have work at 9 AM. So, nope.

3. Is it between 9 AM and 9:30 AM? Someone will be cleaning it, so the gate will be locked, and they will just ignore you as you repeatedly scan your key wondering why it's lighting up green but not letting you in. Thus it really doesn't open until like 9:45 AM, maybe. So, nope.

4. Is it 9:45-9:50 AM? Well, you can walk all the way down there, to see if it's done being cleaned yet. But even if it's done being cleaned, someone else will probably be in there swimming, and it's not a big pool. So again, nope.

This is why I hardly ever go, even though it's a very nice pool. I haven't been this whole summer though, and I'd like to go at least once.

There needs to be some sort of way of checking online to see if the pool is empty. Getting into my swimsuit and everything, only to find the pool full or closed due to cleaning, is extremely annoying. I just want to use the pool I am paying for.
